PDFtoPNG.co is committed to protecting your privacy. Every conversion runs inside your browser, so the files you convert are never uploaded. The one exception is PDF compression above 10 MB, which falls back to a server that optimises the file and discards it immediately.
Data We Don't Collect
We do NOT collect, store, or process:
- Your PDF, PNG or image files — nothing you convert is uploaded
- File contents, file names, or metadata
- Account data — there is no registration and no login
- Payment details — every tool is free
- Anything from inside your files, for advertising or for any other purpose
- Contact details, unless you choose to email us
How Our Service Works
Client-Side Processing
All PDF to PNG conversions happen entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are processed locally on your device.
No Server Uploads
Unlike most converters, your files are not uploaded to be processed. The only exception is compressing a PDF larger than 10 MB, where the file is sent to our server, optimised, returned, and discarded without being stored.
Technical Information
Cookies, Ads and Analytics
The conversion tools themselves need no cookies at all — block every cookie and they still work. The site does set the following:
- Essential cookies that keep the site working and secure
- Google AdSense cookies — advertising is what keeps every tool free
- Google Analytics (GA4) cookies — visit counts and which tools get used
Third-Party Services
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps basic server logs — including IP addresses — for security and performance. We serve Google AdSense ads and use Google Analytics 4; both set their own cookies and receive your IP address and the pages you view, and Google's use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. JavaScript libraries such as PDF.js load from a CDN. None of these third parties ever receive the files you convert.
Your Rights
We never collect the files you convert, and there is no account that could identify you. Google's advertising and analytics cookies are the exception, and they stay under your control. You have the right to:
- Use every conversion tool without identifying yourself
- Clear your browser data at any time
- Block all cookies without affecting any conversion
- Contact us with any privacy questions
